The workshop is aimed at people who are in a position of authority or responsibility and would like to strengthen their leadership skills.
It will be a training day for managers, team leaders, and senior or mid-level professionals in the software industry, helping them to strategically understand and approach the Quality of their projects, products, and services.
Whether you are a business owner, a manager, a CEO of a multinational, or a team leader for only six people, you will be faced with leadership issues, so this workshop is for you.

Quality is the greatest differentiator between you and your competitors and yet it is something that is rarely managed appropriately.
We assume that we will deliver quality because we have promised it and believe everything will work out. Typically, there are only two times in the life of a product or service in which quality is ever mentioned when the salesperson is trying to sell it and when the client is complaining about it.
Quality needs to be defined and all team members need to believe in it if any success is going to be achieved. Quality does not happen by chance; it is part of the culture of an organization: it is a state of mind.

One of the key components of quality is continuous innovation. If you are not innovating you are getting ready to be replaced by automation or competition.
In this workshop, you will be invited, through a series of practical exercises, to define the strengths and weaknesses of your internal culture and the culture that you would like to see emerge in the short-term future.
Approaches will be discussed as to how you can reinforce the most beneficial aspects of your culture, and how to reduce or eliminate the more detrimental aspects.
This workshop is practical and seeks to assist participants in truly making a difference within their own organization, whether they are the owners, CEOs in a multinational, or team leaders in software projects.
The workshop will be conducted as an interactive presentation and will have several exercise sessions, feedback sessions and discussions.

Early booking: 750 lei, valid for registrations up to and including October 20, 2022.
Full price: 900 lei.
The organizer is an NGO and issues an invoice (without VAT). The reservation of the place is confirmed after the full payment of the participation fee.
The advance paid for the reservation and/or the participation cost already paid is returned in proportion to 100% if the event is cancelled.
The advance paid for the reservation and/or the participation cost already paid is returned in proportion to 50% if the participant announces at least 10 calendar days before the event that he will not arrive at the event.
Reserved places are transferable, participants can be replaced at any time before the start of the course.
The SPOR School, together with its partners, grants two full scholarships – free access to the course, for students, teachers or professionals who are unable to pay the participation cost.

The event will be filmed (partially) and photographed, and the resulting materials will be used for the production of promotional materials, presentation in the mass media and for the SPOR School archive.

With a half-century of experience in IT and other knowledge-based industries, Peter Leeson is a frequent visitor to Transylvania and a big supporter of our local talent base. His focus has always been on how to improve quality and the continual improvement of work practices.
In that capacity, he has worked in both large and small organizations around the world and has helped many local and international organizations improve their culture so as to motivate team members to deliver always higher levels of quality.
He believes in the organizational culture and works on identifying and correcting any structures processes or activities that impact the staff’s effectiveness.
Peter is a Certified Quality Professional and a leading member of the Deming Alliance or consultant instructor and coach, a former auditor, and a frequent lecturer at national and international conferences both in Romania and elsewhere.
